ABOUT
Their story
We started market sales from our original farm in Anderson in 1996, then Round Mountain, and since 2018 from lower Shingletown. We've gone from many, many row crops to vegetable and flower seedlings with some garlic thrown in, and we've been certified and now registered organic since 1998.
For more than 30 years we've offered not only great nursery products but immeasurable amounts of education, encouragement, and witty repartee. Gerry has always been the primary farmer; Margaret has been the face of the farm for thousands of markets and gets recognized as "the garlic lady" all over Shasta County. We sell seasonally: mid-March to mid-June, then Labor Day weekend to mid-October, with a summer break during the heat.
